All in a Day

David

Lesotho Academy of Arts is a school that we visit and help on our mission trips to Lesotho. When we arrived this month, the staff was quite discouraged. They had no gas for cooking, little paraffin for heating, no phone, almost no electricity, and no food! On top of that, the temperature was below freezing and it was snowing.

Before our visit, some supermarkets in South Africa had donated five bags of bread, vegetables, and pies, which we delivered to the school. Others had donated clothes and shoes. The school staff and children were overjoyed.

When we returned to South Africa we gave Moso, the school director, a lift over the border to check his bank account. Some money he was expecting had just come in!

In one day, things had taken a turn for the better, and everyone at the school was thrilled.
