Attendees of the Activated retreat
A growing circle of Activated members in Italy have come to depend on regular area-wide retreats to share news, pray for one another, make new friends, strengthen old bonds, and network on a myriad of projects. The agenda of the September 2008 National Activated Retreat focused on the significance of being a Christian in today’s world, and specifically on strengthening marriages, raising children, and coping with the current global economic crisis. The core focus was faith and learning to adopt a perspective of hope, to thus remain connected to God, who cares for every detail of our individual lives, in spite of ever-changing world conditions.
