In May 2009, TFI members, working together with local officials and businessmen, conducted an Early Learning Seminar for over 300 teachers in Kupang in NTT province. Preschool teachers came from over 120 PAUD schools. PAUD schools provide free education to pre-school and kindergarten age children from very low income families. Sponsored by like minded individuals TFI distributed over 1000 educational character building videos and fun packed Activity books for their schools. Volunteers also visited several PAUD schools groups spending time with the teachers to gain firsthand experience of their need for future assistance.
