From Jesus with Love

"The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life" (John 6:63). That's as true today as it was when Jesus said it to His disciples of old. And it's also just as true of the fresh, new words He speaks to His children today as it is of His words that we read in the Bible.

Jesus speaks today? Yes! He is "the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8). He will speak to anyone who believes in Him, sincerely asks Him to, and then accepts by faith that what they "hear" in their heart are truly His words. This is known as "the gift of prophecy."

From Jesus with Love is a series of books containing short, soul-stirring messages of love, comfort, inspiration and guidance, all of which were received directly from Jesus in answer to people's prayers for themselves or fellow Christians. But like Jesus' words that we read in the Bible--all of which were also first directed to someone else--these words can speak directly to your heart and meet your personal needs too!

Some passages are inspirational in nature, while others offer solutions to specific problems. Some may seem like they could have been written for you alone, and some may not seem to apply to you--at least not right now. Whatever the case, all of these messages have one thing in common: They express Jesus' great love and personal concern for His children.

The key to reading these messages is faith! It took faith for ordinary people to ask Jesus to speak directly to them with messages of love, encouragement, and guidance; it took faith for them to receive and record those messages; and it will take faith for you to believe, apply, and benefit from them yourself.

The Bible tells us that faith comes through reading God's Word. (See Romans 10:17.) So as you read God's Words with an open mind and heart, and ask Him to give you faith to receive, believe and apply them, He will!
