The Bible says that God honors and rewards those who draw near to Him in faith (Hebrews 11:6). Faith grows and is strengthened through the study of God’s Word (Romans 10:17), and a living faith is one that is translated into action (James 2:17). We believe that our faith should be integrated into every aspect of our lives and interactions with others. “The just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17).

We believe that God cares for each of His children, and seeks to guide, support, comfort, strengthen, and provide for them. Our faith empowers us to trust Him for the challenges of life, even if we don’t always understand His ways or why He allows the difficulties we face. As we commit our lives, hopes, and future into His loving hands, we trust that God will fulfill His promises to us. He will cause everything that those who love Him encounter in life to ultimately work together for their good (Romans 8:28).

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Psalm 23:1–4 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 34:15,17–19 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Psalm 91:14–16 Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.
