インドネシアでの活動概要(英語)
Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous nation with a population approaching 240 million. It has a wealth of natural resources along with its wide diversity of people, cultures, languages and religions. The Indonesian national motto, “Unity in Diversity,” is clearly shown by the over 300 ethnic groups spread across the more than 6,000 inhabited islands of the Indonesian archipelago that spans a distance of 5,000 kilometers from east to west.
The Family International in Indonesia works in cooperation with those from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds and religious beliefs with the goal of bringing friendship, hope and encouragement to those in need.
Working with many like-minded individuals from a diverse range of organizations, we offer assistance such as disaster relief response and trauma therapy, institutional support in a wide variety of situations, distributing food and other basic necessities to the underprivileged. Activities also include holding educational seminars and workshops and performing fun, meaningful and motivational programs using puppets, music and dance. In addition, TFI Indonesia seeks to provide emotional support and spiritual assistance for people from all walks of life.
We find great satisfaction in working in a country where being of service to one’s fellow man and extending compassion to those in need is highly valued. This is something we strive to emulate. We are committed to doing our best to contribute positively to Indonesian society.
