YouthReach and Street Theater
YouthReach is a project run by young members of The Family International in England to make a positive difference in the lives of other youth in London and throughout the UK.
The Tchuma Tchato Project, Portugal
Family members in Portugal have been involved with distributing humanitarian aid to Mozambique for the last 8 years. This project began in 2000, when Mozambique underwent terrible floods in the Limpopo basin.
Humanitarian Aid, Switzerland
Family volunteers in Switzerland send regular shipments of humanitarian aid to developing countries in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.
L’Aquila Earthquake Relief
On April 6 a dreadful earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale hit the Abruzzo region in Italy killing 294 people and destroying large parts of L'Aquila region, forcing tens of thousands of people to flee their homes. Family International members were present to provide assistance.
Synergy
The Family International in Birmingham, England runs a monthly arts event in a popular pub in the city centre. Young idealists are invited to attend the evening, which is packed with live drama, dance, and music.
