We conduct a specialized course at the Bahn Kaen Tong Babies Home in Khon Kaen, Thailand, to help prepare young orphans for adoption by foreigners. These children need a lot of love and special care, so every week we play with them, while teaching them English and helping them get used to foreigners and some of the new situations and environments they will encounter once adopted. Last year we worked with 10 children, over half of whom have since been adopted. Here Juliana reads to Nong Mai, one of the orphans preparing for adoption abroad. Next image »
